Finland, CIMO active in China

CIMO in China
CIMO Higher Education and Research Office in Shanghai was opened in April 2009. Its purpose is to assist Finnish HEI's to find contacts in Chinese universities and follow developments in the Chinese higher education sector.

At the same time the office is a marketing unit for Finnish higher education in China. Currently the office has a staff of two, Mr. Juha Tähkämaa, Liaison for the Ministry of Education, Finland, and Ms. Lukia Yang, Project Coordinator.

Through this website we'll present our activities in China and provide information about Chinese higher education. All ideas how to develop this website are warmly welcome!

In 2010 the CIMO Higher Education and Research Office will closely assist in the EXPO 2010 activities in Shanghai. Education will be a major theme in the Finnish EXPO pavilion. If you are interested in the Finnish Education in EXPO 2010, please contact our office or Ms. Merja Lankinen, CIMO's Communications Director in Finland.
